Istanbul Park:
With the famous turn 8, it’s always a good race.
After qualifying third, it would be an exciting race, starting on the clean side of the track.
Though after turn one, the story had a whole different ending…
Steering into turn one, another driver hit his brakes way too late, sending Michael into the gravel, being stuck there for a few seconds, but long enough to have to start all over again from behind.
Catching up quite quick again, Michael had a race full of fights ahead of him.
Managed to finish 4th with a heavily damaged car, Michael looks back satisfied for how he finished the race.
Canada:
A track that always suits Michael quite well.
Qualifying turned out in yet another P3, but knowing his own speed, he hoped to be first very soon.
After the first few turns Michael was in second position though his setup had one error, his massive speed on the straight costed him more time on the rest of the circuit than he could ever make up on the back straight.
Quite clean race, started third and also finished third.
Valencia:
Tight street circuit, scene of last years accident by a failing USB port.
Qualified second right behind Sven Hesse.
After the start, it became very obvious Michael was slower than Hesse and Fields, but also Rice was able to keep up.
It didn’t take Fields long to get passed Michael, and it stayed that way for the rest of the race.
Started second, finished third.
Silverstone:
The renewed Silverstone track proved to be harder than originally thought.
Qualified pole position, but knowing it’s a hard track, Michael was unsure what would happen during the race.
Michael started quite good, but Sven Hesse had a perfect start, jumping first immediately.
He had a lot of fights with Stuart Fields, and managed to win them eventually.
Started first, finished second.
Next up, Hockenheim, the new one that is.
Stay Tuned.
