Istanbul Park:
With the famous turn 8, it’s always a good race.
After qualifying third, it would be an exciting race, starting on the clean side of the track.
Though after turn one, the story had a whole different ending…
Steering into turn one, another driver hit his brakes way too late, sending Michael into the gravel, being stuck there for a few seconds, but long enough to have to start all over again from behind.
Catching up quite quick again, Michael had a race full of fights ahead of him.
Managed to finish 4th with a heavily damaged car, Michael looks back satisfied for how he finished the race.
Canada:
A track that always suits Michael quite well.
Qualifying turned out in yet another P3, but knowing his own speed, he hoped to be first very soon.
After the first few turns Michael was in second position though his setup had one error, his massive speed on the straight costed him more time on the rest of the circuit than he could ever make up on the back straight.
Quite clean race, started third and also finished third.
Valencia:
Tight street circuit, scene of last years accident by a failing USB port.
Qualified second right behind Sven Hesse.
After the start, it became very obvious Michael was slower than Hesse and Fields, but also Rice was able to keep up.
It didn’t take Fields long to get passed Michael, and it stayed that way for the rest of the race.
Started second, finished third.
Silverstone:
The renewed Silverstone track proved to be harder than originally thought.
Qualified pole position, but knowing it’s a hard track, Michael was unsure what would happen during the race.
Michael started quite good, but Sven Hesse had a perfect start, jumping first immediately.
He had a lot of fights with Stuart Fields, and managed to win them eventually.
Started first, finished second.
Next up, Hockenheim, the new one that is.
Stay Tuned.
Circuit de Monaco is a street circuit laid out on the city streets of Monte Carlo and La Condamine around the harbour of the principality of Monaco. It is commonly referred to as “Monte Carlo” because it is largely inside the Monte Carlo neighbourhood of Monaco.
The circuit is used on one weekend of each year to host the Formula One Monaco Grand Prix.
The lap starts with a short sprint up to the tight St. Devote corner. This is a nearly 90 degree right-hand bend usually taken in first or second gear. This corner has seen many first lap accidents, although these are less common since the removal of the mini roundabout on the apex of the corner before the 2003 event, making the entrance to the corner wider. The cars then head uphill, before changing down for the long left-hander at Massenet.
Out of Massenet, the cars drive past the famous casino before quickly reaching the aptly named Casino Square. The cars snake down the next short straight, avoiding an enormous bump on the left of the track, a reminder of the unique nature of the circuit. This leads to the tight Mirabeau corner, which is followed by a short downhill burst to the even tighter Fairmont Hotel hairpin (formerly known as both Station Hairpin and Loews Hairpin; hairpin carries name of hotel). It is a corner which has been used for many overtaking manoeuvres in the past. However it would be almost physically impossible for two modern F1 cars to go round side by side, as the drivers must use full steering lock to get around. It is so tight that many Formula 1 teams must redesign their steering and suspension specifically to negotiate this corner.

The Spanish Grand Prix is a Formula One race currently held at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain, as part of the annual Formula One championship season.
Work on the Circuit de Catalunya was underway in Barcelona, and in 1991, the event moved to this new track, where it has remained since. The 1992 event was advertised as the Grand Prix of the Olympic Games. Since that race the race has been held in early season, usually in late April or early May.
The Williamses dominated the first outings there, taking all victories until 1994. Michael Schumacher has won a total of six times, including his 1996 victory in heavy rain, which was his first for Ferrari. Mika Häkkinen took three victories and was on road for fourth in 2001 before his car failed on the last lap.
Since 2003 the race has been well attended thanks to success of Fernando Alonso. Alonso finished second in 2003 and 2005 before taking victory in 2006.
The Sepang International Circuit (SIC) is a racing circuit in Sepang, Selangor, Malaysia. It is located near Kuala Lumpur International Airport, approximately 60 km south of the capital city Kuala Lumpur. It is the venue used for the Formula One Malaysian Grand Prix, A1 Grand Prix as well as the Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix. It is also used as a venue for many other major motorsport events, including the Grand Prix Online Malaysian Grand Prix.
The Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit is a street circuit around Albert Park Lake, only a couple of kilometres south of central Melbourne.
It is used once a year as a racetrack for the Australian Grand Prix and associated support races.
The circuit uses everyday sections of road that circle Albert Park Lake, a small man-made lake just south of the Central Business District of Melbourne. The road sections that are used were rebuilt prior to the inaugural event in 1996 to ensure consistency and smoothness. As a result, compared to other circuits that are held on public roads, the Albert Park track has quite a smooth surface. Before 2007 there existed only a few other places on the Formula 1 calendar with a body of water close to the track. Most of the new tracks, such as Valencia, Singapore and Abu Dhabi have imitated that feature.
The course is considered to be quite fast and relatively easy to drive, with drivers having commented that the consistent placement of corners allows them to easily learn the circuit and achieve competitive times. However, the flat terrain around the lake, coupled with a track design that features few true straights, means that the track is not conducive to overtaking or easy spectating unless in possession of a grandstand seat.
Michael had quite a good weekend on Melbourne, Qualifying second, and finishing in points!
